In The name of Allah, The Compassionate, The Merciful.
71.1 - Indeed, We sent Nuh to his people, (saying): Warn your people before there comes to them a painful torture.
71.2 - He (Nuh) said: O my people! Indeed, I am to you an obvious warner.
71.3 - (Saying:) You should worship Allah and fear Him and obey me.
71.4 - He will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term; indeed, when the term of Allah comes, it will not be postponed, if you only knew.
71.5 - He (Nuh) said: My Lord! Indeed, I have called my people night and day.
71.6 - But my call did not increase them except in flight.
71.7 - And indeed, whenever I have called them that You may forgive them, they made their fingers in their ears and covered themselves with their garments and persisted and were arrogant with (great) arrogance.
71.8 - Moreover, I have called them publicly.
71.9 - Then I have announced to them and confided to them secretly.
71.10 - And said: Seek forgiveness of your Lord; indeed, He is ever Forgiving.
